The Catholic Academy of New Haven Launches Its New Website

July 19th, 2018

The Catholic Academy of New Haven, a parochial school serving children grades K through 8, has launched their new website with the help of SoSimple Interactive.

Previously known as St. Aeden – St. Brendan Catholic School, the name change to The Catholic Academy of New Haven also came with a new direction in education. The Academy’s mission is to provide every student with a forward-thinking, innovative, faith-filled, and challenging education experience focusing on the STREAM curriculum. This STREAM model supports interdisciplinary instruction in Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

Along with the new name and educational approach, the school also selected SoSimple Interactive to create a custom website that would exemplify the school’s 21st century curriculum and help it stand out from the competition. The site was to be fresh, modern and progressive, like the school itself.

SoSimple Interactive designed a website that is bright, colorful and visually attractive to prospective students and parents. The site comprehensively explains the Academy’s STREAM program and why it is so important to today’s students. It site also features a visit scheduler for new parents, school calendar, teachers pages, online application form, and links to the school’s pre-school program, social media account, password-protected parent portal, and more.

For on-the-go students and parents, the new website features a responsive, mobile-optimized design. This allows the site to automatically reformat content to be displayed optimally across all viewing platforms - desktop, tablet or smart phone.

The Catholic Academy of New Haven’s new website also utilizes SoSimple’s Content Management System allowing it to easily self-manage and scale the site to their needs throughout the school year. Along with the custom website, SoSimple also provided comprehensive training and continuing technical support for the school.
