SoSimple CMS Upgrade: New Community Manager Form Builder Function

June 14th, 2017 by Kristen Yeager

Recent updates to SoSimple CMS’ Form Builder page type now allow Community Manager accounts to pull in fields from your Community Manager database to any form builder page you create.

Once you choose to import your Community Manager fields, a window will appear allowing you to choose which fields you want to feature in your form, and which you don’t. Simply click the check box next to each field name to enable or disable that field.

Once you click the “Import Fields” button, your form will auto-populate with the fields you have chosen, including the field type (single line text box, phone number, etc.). You can change the order of these fields by dragging the blue arrows up and down, just like with any regular form builder page.

Once a Community Manager form has been submitted, the information is automatically populated into your database. This feature is ideal for setting up customer subscription databases, as well as allowing multiple people to update your database at the same time.
