Hummel Bros. Launches New Website and Online Store

Hummel Bros. Inc., a meat manufacturing company based in Connecticut, has launched their new website and online store with the help of SoSimple Interactive.
Hummel’s new website boasts the iconic red and blue color scheme of the company through buttons, links, and custom colored layout boxes using SoSimple’s CMS editor. These colored boxes make it easy for the company to showcase important information on their homepage and throughout the site in an unexpected and on-brand fashion.
The website’s Our Story page utilizes a dynamic timeline scrolling effect, carrying users through the history of the company in an animated and unique way.
Hummel contracted SoSimple to handle updating their photography, in addition to redesigning their website, to help provide necessary visuals of the company and their products to website viewers. New product images are also featured throughout Hummel Bros.’ new online store, set up by SoSimple using Magento, and third-party e-commerce platform.
For mobile users, the new website includes responsive, mobile-optimized design allowing the site to automatically reformat to ensure that content is always displayed in an optimal manner across all viewing platforms - desktop, tablet or smart phone. The new website utilizes SoSimple’s Content Management System, allowing the client to easily manage and scale their website. With complete control, multiple site administrators can now easily manage all aspects of the website.
