Fontbonne Hall Launches New Website

Fontbonne Hall, a catholic, all-girls, preparatory high school located in Brooklyn, New York, recently launched its new website with the help of SoSimple Interactive.
Fontbonne Hall has been dedicated to graduating independent women since 1937, and their constant technological advancements in student curriculum has earned them their recently updated name: The Lab School for Girls. As such, Fontbonne needed to bring the same approach to their new website.
The new site features an in depth interactive campus map, featuring guided videos for each map location. Fontbonne is also utilizing SoSimple's Virtual Campus, a comprehensive yet easy-to-use distance learning module that allows each teacher to have his/her own classroom where they can live-stream lessons, attendance can be tracked, teachers and students can chat, recorded lectures can be stored for student viewing, and more.
The website also features a detailed curriculum breakdown, including class descriptions, credits, and requirements, all broken down by subject. Parents can subscribe to the online school Calendar, allowing them to automatically synch school events from multiple categories to their personal calendars. New prospective parents can find testimonials from alumni, and can request information with the online Contact form. The site also features a password protected Staff Login section, where faculty and staff members can access important documents and reference materials.
The new website’s design is mobile-optimized and responsive, allowing site content to automatically reformat and be optimally displayed across all viewing platforms – computers, tablets or smart phones. The website was also built on SoSimple’s Content Management System (CMS), allowing Fontbonne to easily self-manage and update its content throughout the year.
