ESC Launches New Website
July 5th, 2016
Environmental Systems Corporation (ESC) has launched their new website with the help of SoSimple Interactive.
The website’s homepage features a photo-centric landing page featuring icon links to each separate division of the company. Once clicked, each division button leads the user to a separate division page including 3 sub-pages: “Approach,” “Contacts” and “Clients”.
The newly redesigned website features a password protected employee portal. The “Employees” link, featured in the upper navigation of the site, leads to a page containing a series of work-related documents for ESC employee reference. This page is password protected to keep these documents safe from public view.
Also featured in the upper navigation of the site is the “Careers” page, which utilizes a careers page type. This allows the client to easily add and remove job opportunities as they are needed.
The site’s “Connect” page features SoSimple’s newly updated form builder page type, allowing the client to include the driving directions module directly into the form builder page type. The site also features side content boxes featuring contact forms and links to email, making it very easy for the user to be able to contact the client.
ESC is able to feature the clients they have served on their new website by utilizing tables to display client logos and names paired with the service provided to each client. Users can find this table on the “Our Work” page, in addition to smaller, division specific tables featured in the “Clients” sub-pages of each division.
Each “Contacts” division sub-page consists of a complete list of contacts for each branch of the company. These contact pages utilize the Offset Two Column (33-66) responsive page layout, allowing the content to resize for mobile viewing much easier. This responsive page layout can also be found on the “Leadership” page of the website.
For mobile users, the new website includes responsive, mobile-optimized design, allowing the site to automatically reformat to ensure that content is always displayed in an optimal manner across all viewing platforms - desktop, tablet or smart phone.
